Organic farming and hand harvested then maceration lasts 12-18 days, separated by vineyard block. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks for eight days at 84 degrees, is followed by 20 months aging in wood casks (tonneaux and barrique) again separated by vineyard black. The different vineyard blacks are then blended in cement vats for another four months of again. Vegan friendly! The estate is Villa Calcinaia is situated in the center of Chianti Classico near the town of Greve-in-Chianti. This historic estate has been home to the Counts Capponi since 1524, and is maintained by Sebastiano Capponi. Calcinaia is the heart of the Capponi family and each generation gives new life to the fields, woods, vineyards and cellars. These wines express the family's love for the land; with every vintage they share the hopes, worries, pride and care that come with making honest wines. Organic farming is the standard at Villa Calcinaia where 75 acres of vineyard are planted. The Villa Calcinaia philosophy has has always been; " Love for the land, respect for tradition, and the rightful pride in bearing the name Capponi."

Domaine de l'Arnesque has been owned and cared for the Biscarrat family for six generations. Chateauneuf du Pape is comprised of several small vineyard areas named locally for their unique terroir. l'Arnesque is one of these special areas and this is where the family has the majority of the vines. These are around fifty years old and rest upon a westward facing slope near the Mont Redon plateau. The soil here is covered with galets (large, round stones). It contains a great deal of clay and limestone, and lies on stony sub-soil. Following the harvest, the grapes are macerated for 28 days with the skins. During maceration the pomace is frequently pumped over and punched down producing tannin levels and dark color extraction characteristic of Châteauneuf du Pape. Whole clusters are also included to enhance structure. Aged in oak barrels for 12 months

A Terzetto is a musical composition for three voices. This lyrical name was chosen to highlight the three essential parts which must synchronize in harmony to create this wine: The Land, The Grape, The People. If any member of this trio is missing or out of tune, the wine is not possible. The ancient hillsides of Piedmont, Barolo and Barbaresco in particular, are one of the few places on earth where the unique Nebbiolo grape produces distinctive wines – but only when tended and crafted with knowledge and experience of people who have lived there for generations.

Vineyard
The Monchiero family owns 25 acres of vineyards in Piedmont spread throughout the communes of Barolo and Alba, For generations the family farmed and grow grapes on the Montanello estate outside the small town of Castiglione Falletto. In the 1950s, the brothers Remo and Maggiorina Monchiero started producing wine under their own family name. The small winery located in Castiglione Falletto was established in the 13th century and purchased by the Monchiero brothers in 1982. Vittorio Monchiero, son of Maggiorine, was trained at the renowned oenological institute in Alba and remains committed to the region's traditional practices opposed to the flashier international style that has taken root in many of Piedmont's cellars over the last few decades. Vittorio's wines loyally express the flavors and aromas that make Piedmont's wines unique. In 2017 his eldest son, Luca, joined the family winery. His younger son, Stefano, is studying viticulture and will soon do the same.

Vinification
Favoring long maceration periods with skin contact and aging in large Slavonian oak casks, this Superiore Barbera is produced from vines next to the Bricco Boschis and Monprivato vineyards in Castiglione Falletto and also from the hamlet of Scaparoni in Alba. After a precise and careful harvest the wine undergoes a long, 15 day maceration period followed by a slow fermentation. It is then aged for one year in large Slavonian oak barrels before bottling.

Built on a Roman Villae, The Domaine de la Bastide is an old fortified Templar's farm with more than a thousand years old know records. Partly destroyed during the French revolution, it has now come back to its original aim: wine making. The cellar was built in the late 70's. Total capacity of more that 7500 hectoliters. Fermentation is conducted in stainless steel vats of 200 hectoliters with controlled temperature. After fermentation the wine is drained into concrete vats coated with epoxy resins. Vincent and Stephanie Boyer are the second generation operating this winery. They are currently practicing organic viticulture and hope to be certified in the near future. The Domaine de la Bastide is located in the Rhone Valley, 50 km north of Avignon, in a little village called Visan. The vineyards are located in Visan and Suze-la-Rousse. Most of them are on stony dry soils, typical of the South Rhone Valley

Bastide Cotes du Rhone Rouge is a beautiful, deep purple color with purplish and shiny reflections. The nose presents aromas of fresh red fruits, crushed strawberries and raspberries. On the palate we discover a very nice balance - a wine that is fresh, dense and round at the same time. It's a fruity wine with good length. 40% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 20% Carignan, and 15% Mourvedre from 25 year old vines. The grapes are fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit purity of the wine.

Entre-Deux-Mers literally translates to "between two seas" but it actually lies between two rivers: the Garonne and the Dordogne Rivers. The soil of compact clay and limestone would imply it is inhospitable to grape vines, but the opposite is true. The more stress on the vines makes for better wine. Right Bank refers to the Bordeaux region on the Northern Bank of the Dordogne River. Pomerol and Saint-Emilion are Bordeaux regions on the Right Bank.

Here cool breezes sweep down from the mountains to the sea and provide a constant contract to the hot sun. This keeps the vineyards very cool at night and nurtures Pinot Grigio naturally playful acidity and lively aromatics. The Botter family has been producing wines like Avanti in Fossalta di Piave, north of Venice, since 1928. Over the generations the company has grown significantly but with purpose, and it remains family owned and operated with a focus on exports.
